Taking the Household Inventory

So, if you are going to sell your stuff to fix your life.  The first thing to do I believe would be to catalog everything that you could possibly sell.  This is such a daunting task for my ADD mind that I am glad that I have the accountability of this forum in order to ensure I get this done.

I think it is challenging and even crazy to think that you could possible categorize and list every single, solitary item that you own (even for a single person).  Coupled with the fact that I have a husband, two children, a business (filled with stuff as well in 10,000 square feet) and am also helping to sift through all of Nanie's personal possessions . . . what I thought would take a few weeks to go through and sell everything I am now thinking will take closer to a year (although I hope not).

Many items like children's clothes, Nanie's clothes/shoes/hats/purses, and some random dishes and things are already up for sale and are in another storage location right now.  I think it may be most beneficial to only list those items when they have sold.  So I will be keeping a tally of all items that sell along with their price and a grand total at the bottom.

I have seen many blogs that talk about only owning 100 items or less or sometimes 250 items or less but at this point, I almost wish I owned 10,000 items or less LOL.

This is going to be a long haul.
